As the largest single funder of free debt advice in England we helped almost 1.26 million people with debt advice, money guidance and pension guidance in the 2019/20 financial year. We’re looking for people who have the right skills, knowledge and behaviours for the job, but equally as important is a strong commitment to our objectives, values and vision.

As Chief Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and embedding a consistent, transparent and fully understood organisation wide approach to compliance. You will work extensively with a range of internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure that compliance is well managed and that there are effective guidelines in place to support full adherence. Comfortable reporting to executive teams and board members, you will give confidence at the most senior levels of the organisation that compliance is robust, and where needed you will deputise for the Risk, Compliance & Assurance Director.

A collaborative and inclusive leader, you will bring a track record of developing and maintaining compliance frameworks and policies in comparably complex and commercially focused settings. You will bring substantial knowledge of the FCA Handbook and understand how to lead understanding and adherence to these regulations across an organisation. You will have demonstrable experience of building the Three Lines of Defence model within an organisation and embedding its use at all levels. You will bring not just capability, but a clear sense of a strong value set in line with an organisation that champions inclusion, diversity, collaboration and successful delivery.
